Noun clauses with who, what, whose + be
Learners sometimes have a little trouble with word order in Noun Clauses. That's especially true if the verb is Is.
Look at this question:
Who is your teacher?There's a noun following the verb is: teacher. It's the subject of the question.
And the subject of a question comes in front of a verb in a Noun Clause! Like this:
I don't know who your teacher is.Now let me ask you:
Who is listening to us right now?In that question, Who is the subject.
So in a Noun Clause the word order is the same as in the question:
I don't know who is listening to us.The same situation happens with what and whose when using the verb be in Noun Clauses.
